The Lift-Away pod handles stairs exactly as advertised. Detach, click the hose in, and move from step to step without dragging a full upright behind you. The swivel steering is effortless around furniture, and switching to bare floors with the brushroll shutoff takes one second. For anyone with allergies, the HEPA filter with the anti-allergen seal does what it promises — dust stays in the cup, not in the air. I noticed less sneezing within the first week. Drawbacks are honest: it's heavier than the NV360, at $229 it's not the budget pick, and there's still no cord rewind. The 0.9-quart cup also fills quickly in larger homes. Bottom line: if you're choosing between the Navigator and the Rotator, the NV501's LED headlights, superior suction, and wider tools are worth the extra $70. It's the premium, do-everything upright in the line — visible dirt, zero excuses.
